Covid-19

We look forward to welcoming guests to The Old Vicarage, Evenley.

To ensure the safety of all guests and our family we have taken measures to ensure that we are Covid secure and compliant.  We will of course do all we can to ensure the measures do not impact your stay whilst keeping the health and safety of all as our uppermost priority.

Whilst these measures are based on the current government advice and guidance we reserve the right to change and update our procedures without notice given the current pandemic and inline with any government updates.

In the current environment we are prioritising our bookings to the Coach House which is a separate building to the main house.

Breakfast

With the slight relaxation of the guidance we can now welcome guests back into the Main House for breakfast.  We need to ensure that we maintain safe distancing between different guests staying and where possible we will allocate a different time slot or create a safe distance between table settings.  Our full English Breakfast is always prepared fresh to order.  If you would prefer breakfast in your room that is also an option.

Cleaning

We will of course be maintaining our high standards of cleaning.

Highly used touch points such as door handles will be regularly cleaned.

Hand sanitiser is available at the entrance to the Coach House and the Main House.  Please use this or your own on entry and departure.

The government advises limiting cross contamination as far as possible, therefore we will not enter rooms for housekeeping duties unless requested during your stay.  Of course if you need additional hospitality items, fresh towels etc please let us know as we will be happy to provide these for you.

Social Distancing

As a Georgian property our hallways and entrance ways are pinch points so we ask that all guests are aware and use social distancing appropriately around the property. 

Health

It is essential you follow the government guidance and DO NOT TRAVEL if you are displaying any symptoms or are unwell.

If you develop symptoms during your stay we ask you to let us know.  You should immediately return home to self isolate.
